Clowns are really creepy, let me tell you an Urban legend about a clown.
In some tellings the babysitter does not receive any phone calls but the youngest child crying, scared by a life sized clown doll. The babysitter goes up repeatedly during the night, the clown always seeming to be in a different position than before. The babysitter calls her employers asking for her permission to remove the doll from the bedroom as it is scaring the children and the childrens mother tells her to take the children and get out of the house as they do not have a giant clown doll.

O__O *shudder*
I know in the Sims, you can get this Clown Painting and at night like, 30 days after you buy it, the clown will come and steal stuff from your house or... something. I dunno. But it scared the **** out of me.

That is total bullshit, but it is some scary bullshit. My main phobia is the fear of death, specifically the idea that there is nothing after death. The unknown: that is a proper fear, not this bollocks about clowns and spiders that aren't really /that/ scary.

Not when you have arachnaphobia! they're all crawly and hairy and creepy...! *shudder*
Centipedes are 8.9x scarier, though.
